Overseeing a local film crew in New Mexico, I balanced creative innovation with tight budget constraints, producing content that resonated deeply with audiences.

Photographing the cast on the set of Love Lies Bleeding required a delicate balance of precision and subtlety, ensuring I captured striking visuals without interfering with the film crew's workflow. I opted for a minimal lighting setup, leaning into the natural light to preserve the film's raw, authentic atmosphere. This approach drew on my extensive experience creating album and single artwork for artists like Sam Smith and Khalid, where adaptability and collaboration with tight-knit teams are key to success.
With the principal cast already being photographed extensively, I shifted my focus to the film's extras—around 50 professional bodybuilders. This creative decision allowed me to craft a unique set of images that A24 could use to tease the film ahead of the official trailer release, generating intrigue and buzz without giving away key plot details. It was an opportunity to creatively hint at the film's tone while maintaining its mystery.
